• Tazret 0.05% Gel 15 gm is a representative of the ‘retinoids’ group of drugs used in psoriasis treatment (skin forms itchy, dry patches) and acne Psoriasis is an autoimmune (the immune system attacks healthy cells) skin condition characterized by scaling, swelling up and itching of the skin. 
• It primarily affects the knee, elbows, scalp and trunk. It is a chronic disorder and the treatment involves removal of affected skin cells to prevent relapses. Acne is a skin problem that happens when hair follicles get blocked with dead cells and oil.
• Tazarotene 0.05% Gel, 15 gm contains ‘Tazaret’, which is a retinoid that comes from vitamin A. It helps reduce inflammation and the growth of skin cells.
