About the drug:
This is an antifungal antibiotic and steroid combination drug that is used against infections caused by fungus. It comes in both oral and topical form for the treatment of infections caused by fungus. While Clotrimazole is the main anti fungal agent that prevents the growth of fungus, Bethamethasome Dipropionate is a strong corticosteroid that reduces swelling, redness, and itching associated with fungal infections.
Uses of the drug:
This medicine is primarily used in the treatment of skin infections such as athlete?s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and vaginal yeast infections. This medicine is also used for the treatment of a skin condition known as pityriasis (Tenia versicolor), a fungal infection which results in lightening or darkening of the skin, neck, chest, arms, or legs. This drug works by killing the fungal cell. It inhibits the synthesis of cell membrane and also disturbs its permeability. This leads to fungal cell death.

How much to apply the drug?
Use Clotrimazole and Betamethasome Dipropionate antifungal medication (Candid B) strictly according to your doctor?s direction or according to the instructions on the medication label. Do not alter the dosage unless your doctor advises you to do so. Also, do not take this medication after the prescribed period is over. All medications come with a patient leaflet. How to apply the drug?
Before and after applying the lotion, wash your hands properly, unless you are using it to treat a hand infection. Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a small amount of lotion (normally twice daily) for 2 to 4 weeks. Do not use more than 1.5 oz of the lotion or lotion per week unless or otherwise directed by your doctor. Overdose:

Miss dose:
