What Is Eflora Cream

• Eflora Cream has eflornithine which is an active substance belonging to the group of drugs called Ornithine decarboxylase inhibitors. It is employed in the management of facial hirsutism in females. 
• Facial Hirsutism is a condition that presents with unwanted excessive facial hair growth on the chin, mouth and other parts of the face, reminiscent of that in a man, due to hormonal imbalance (as a result of an increase in androgen hormone level), Polycystic ovary syndrome, tumor in the adrenal gland or ovary, Cushing’s syndrome etc.
• Before using Eflora Cream, inform your doctor about kidney or liver issues. These include renal or hepatic impairment. Eflora Cream should not be used by people allergic to eflornithine. Pregnant or nursing women should be cautious when using Eflora Cream.
• Eflora Cream is used in children and adolescents (<18 year) with caution. The doctor should be consulted before Eflora Cream is applied on the skin.

Warning And Precautions:

• If Allergic condition is not lost or improved on Cream, stop using it and consult your Doctor.
