• Emeset 8 Tablet prevents nausea and vomiting from surgery, cancer, or radiotherapy. It can be taken alone or with other drugs, with or without food. The dose depends on your treatment.
• The first dose is usually before surgery, chemo, or radiotherapy. Take other doses as directed. Take it regularly throughout the day for the most benefit.
• Do not overdose. It does not cure other cancer treatment side effects or motion sickness. Common side effects include headache, loose stools, constipation, and fatigue.

How Emeset 8mg Tablet Works

• Emeset 8mg Tablet inhibits the effects of serotonin (5-HT3) in the CTZ chemoreceptor trigger zone (zonain the brain that is responsible for causing nausea and vomiting). It is a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist (specific chemical receptor).

 

Directions For Use

• As prescribed, swallow Emeset 8mg tablet. It can either taken with or without food.
• For Tablet, Capsule: Take the medicine in the form of swallowing by a glass of water. Do not grind or suck the medicine.
• For Dispersible Tablet: Administer the medicine in the proper amount of water prescribed on the label. Directly after reconstitution, administer the drug.
• The dose and period of the treatment will be determined by your doctor on the basis of your age, weight, and type of infection.
