What Is Montair Plus
- Asthma can be treated with Montair Plus Tablet. This medicine helps relax the muscles in the airways, making it easier to breathe.
- You can take Montair Plus Tablet with or without food, as directed by the doctor. The amount of medicine you receive will depend on your condition and how your body responds to it.
- You need to continue using this drug for as long as your doctor tells you. When you cancel treatment prematurely, your symptoms may return and your health situation can get worse.
- Inform your doctor about all other medications you are using because some of them can interact or influence, this drug.
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, skin rash, influenza-like symptoms, restlessness, sleep disturbance, palpitation and muscle cramp are common side effects.
- If you receive these, do not discontinue the intake but inform your doctor. Other less common side effects may be life-threatening.
- If you are concerned, consult your doctor. In general, you need to steer clear of situations that irritate your asthma (your triggers) and avoid smoking.

How Montair Plus Tablet Works
- Montelukast and Bambuterol make up the Montair Plus Tablet. Bambuterol is a bronchodilator that functions by relaxing the muscles in the respiratory tubes and dilating the respiratory tubes.
- Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist and acts by inhibiting the action of leukotriene; a chemical messenger. This decreases airway and nasal inflammation to prevent asthma and alleviate allergy’s symptoms.
Directions For Use
- As your doctor advises. Do not crush or chew, swallow whole. However, the appropriate dose will be prescribed based on age, weight and health condition.
