What Is Salicylix Sf 6% Ointment 50gm

• Salicylix Sf 6% Ointment contains Salicylic acid, a Keratolytic agent. It treats acne, blemishes, and other skin conditions. It also treats dandruff and corn/calluses, but not for salicylic acid allergy.
• It shouldn’t be used in active inflammation/infection/malignancy. Consult your doctor before using it, especially for surgery/kidney problems. Avoid in pregnant women, but safe for breastfeeding.
• Use caution in children/adolescents/elderly. Common side effects include redness and dryness, consult doctor if worsens.

 

Uses Of Salicylix Sf 6% Ointment

Treats and Prevents:

• Acne, skin diseases, blemishes (discolored spot-on skin), and skin redness
• Dandruff, corn & calluses (thickened layers of skin) in affected individuals

 

Directions For Use

• Use Salicylix Sf 6% Ointment as instructed by your physician. It can be used externally. Before use, wash your hands and apply with water to form a lather. 
• Apply a thin layer and rub over wet skin/affected skin area. Do not use this medicine near your eyes, including eyelids. 
• Dosage and duration of the drug will be prescribed by your doctor depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.
